FSM-86B LSI SUBSET (sold as set of three units)
Mfd by Coherent Communications Corp, device allows piggy-backing 
of a data channel over a phone line, stealing a bit of bandwidth 
at about 2800 Hz.  You can key in using +/- 3V to +/- 25V (so can 
run a telex over it), or signal via RS-232 or RS-422/423.
Maximum data speed is 600 bps.

Was used for a number of years to extend a telex circuit over a
phone line on a filled cable with no spare pairs in a foreign country. 
There are two units to make a pair (one at each end) and a spare.

Not many people have a telex any more, but these units can work fine 
to extend any kind of low-speed data over a copper-pair telephone
line.

Complete with installation/user manual and all schematic diagrams.
